Yeni 1000RR hakkında diğer haberler... Fireblade.org'dan bir adam sürdüğünü iddia ediyormuş...
This is how the 08 1000RR is, much narrower, and I can stand with both feet flat (I am 6 feet tall). Also, there is NO hydro cluth on the 2008 although the clutch still feels silky smooth with a light short pull. The 08 does have a slipper clutch, but its different from conventional slippers. It also has some igniton cut out that is to be used as a type of traction control but is also different from conventional traction control. The two systems (clutch and igniton) are said to work together (they had no details for us, but more info on the systems will be here in the weeks to come). Also, there is much much less room from the bars to the windscreen on the 08. The distance when in a tuck feels more compact like the 07 600RR's, the 08 1000RR is shorter and more compact than my 07. The seat on the 08 is flatter than my 07, which seemed to slam me into the tank under hard breaking, which is a welcome change. The bike honestly felt more like the 07 600RR than a 1000 IMO, I am very excited and cant wait to get one in. My 07 will be sold by years end to make room for this. Hope this gives you some idea how its going to be.
Theres only a couple other thing I have. The top tripple clamp has 4 or 6 (I dont remember) triangles cut completley through it to reduce weight and it looks bad ass. The new gauge cluster is more compact. Oh, there is no sight window for oil changes, rather it has a dip stick. I pulled the dip stick and its about a foot long!! The tech guy there said it has an extreamly deep sump and oil pan that it is all pressure fed. This keeps the entire trans and crank above any standing oil. This reduces friction and lets the engine spin up eaiser. The redline was also bumped by 1000 and this is partly due to the new sump design. If I can remember anythings else I'll let you all know.

I have spoken to Ten Kate Racing and they told me that Kenan Suoflugo has seen the 2008 CBR1000RR.The latest pictures that's going around here seems to be the bike for next year.
