The Tiger 800 family, which obtained a great success in Italy, too, are being re-launched with important updates, which don’t upset the successful project, anyway.
Neither the chassis nor the three cylinder engine change: still with 95 hp maximum power at 9.250 rpm, with 79 Nm torque at 7.850 rpm. A novelty is the Ride by Wire accelerator, integrated by the traction control (which can be disconnected) and by the cruise control, both included in the bike’s equipment, together with the ABS, which can be disconnected, too.
Between other news, the new models of the range: Tiger were two before (Standard and XC) , now it’s four of them, with the new “x” versions. The new denominations are Triumph Tiger XR for the street version, with front 19” wheel, and Triumph Tiger XC for the off-road, with 21” front wheel. Tiger 800 XRx and Tiger 800 XCx can count on an almost complete equipment, which includes three Riding Modes (Road, Off-Road and customizable Rider Mode).
