2011 Aprilia Tuono V4 R modeli duyuruldu. Aprilia Performans Sürücü Kontrol paketine sahip araç şasesini RSV4 superbike modelinden almış. 162 bg güç üreten motora sahip araç, Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC SE modeli gibi APRC sistemi, tekteker kontrolü, quick-shifter, sürüş mod seçimi gibi teknolojilere sahip.
2011 Aprilia RSV4 APRC den genlerini alan araç pazarda ki en güçlü çıplak modellerden biri olmaya aday. Rakibi Ducati Streetfighter modelinden7 bg daha fazla güç üretebilen aracın bu model ile asıl rekabeti fiyatında yapması bekleniyor.
