"Well, I did crash test them and I couldn't be happier. I performed a stylish low-speed slide on asphalt, maybe 25 mph. Abrasion damage is almost unnoticeable unless you know what you're looking for."
Motoport Airmesh hakkında: 1-
Motoport mesh gear is as crash resistant as leather. A bit pricey, but the stuff is like chain mail.
2- This is what Motoport gear looks like after being tested sliding and tumbling across rough ass Mexican asphalt at 70 mph. They now have a very loyal fan of their gear.
Firstgear marka file ceket hakkında:
I slid 40 feet under a 425 pound motorcycle during a lowside, and my Firstgear mesh jacket and pants saved my skin. I had a mild scrape on one of my knees and some bruising on my arm. It would have been a different story at high speed for hundreds of feet, but I think the gear did its job.
Revit Airforce hakkında:
A couple of weeks ago, I decided to crash test my gear. It performed so well on a combo lo-side/hi-side/launch and landing that I'm in the market to replace it, since it unfortunately was cut off me...
Firstgear Kilimanjaro ceket hakkında:
Having just done a crash test of one http://new.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55249, I feel qualified to say it held up pretty well at 40 or so MPH. I got one small bit of rash where the sleeve pulled up, I didn't have it very tight.
Alpinestar Stuntmesh ceket hakkında:
Was probably doing around 45mph or so by the time i hit the ditch... * Jacket: Alpinestar Stunt mesh- took the brunt of it, got dirty. No real holes that i could see. The insurance company took it and paid me for it, i went the next day and bought an identical one. Still use it.
Fieldsheer marka file ceket hakkında:
Jacket was a Field Sheer fully vented with Armor. Sorry dont remember the model. Jacket survived 2 accidents, after the hole in the shoulder I retired it.
Joe Rocket Phoenix file ceket hakkında:
I saw a guy crash in a JR Phoenix at about 70mph and I must say that I was impressed. He went down on his left shoulder and I think he may have fractured it, but the jacket held up great. No roadrash that I saw. It was a nice night and I would have been tempted to go out in a long sleeved t-shirt. I now have a mesh jacket.
